: Has anyone got any suggestions please. I am enquiring if Jesmonite would be suitable to use to manufacture Loudspeaker cabinets.

: If so what sort of moulds would be required/needed?
: Can I use wooden moulds?.
: any advice would be welcome

: thanks

Guess this is a new forum, so no replies, felt for you waiting a month and thought you deserved a reply.

Various forms of jesmonite would be suitable for speakers, though I think I would go for the more solid and robust ac720. user guides available on the website.

A good easy mould material is conteboard (plastic lamitated chipboard used for making crap kitchens). If the mould is simple enough, this needs no release agent, and leaves a pretty good surface, even better with a quick wipe with some wet and dry

Hope you hadn't given up on a reply

good luck
